Now in its third year, the RHISE Cup is a competitive event for organizations in Rochester Hills, designed to foster a dynamic and engaging work environment. The acronym RHISE stands for “Rochester Hills Innovators and Senior Executives”.
The City of Rochester Hills Planning & Economic Development Department created this program to help local businesses address the challenge of attracting and retaining top talent. By providing fun, competitive events, the RHISE Cup encourages employees to network and collaborate, while helping companies build a stronger workplace culture that includes social responsibility, life/work balance, and employee engagement.
The 2025 RHISE Cup Social Challenge Food Drive included 21 participating organizations, who collected and delivered a whopping 11,000 pounds of food to The Neighborhood House. This year there are 18 participating organizations, who collectively employ nearly 3,000 people in Rochester Hills.
The 2026 RHISE Cup Social Challenge is a Bath & Body Drive. The primary goal is for participating organizations to collect personal hygiene items—such as soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and deodorant—which will be donated to three local charitable organizations. Finalists will be selected through a committee process managed with the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester (CFGR). From the list of finalists, three recipient organizations will be selected by the participating teams and their employees.
- Participating RHISE Cup Organizations (RCOs) are judged not just on the volume of items collected, but on their employee engagement and the creativity of their donation displays (with a special emphasis on the “America 250” spirit).
- The challenge runs from the Kickoff on September 2nd until judging dates on October 20 and 21. Judges will evaluate the RCOs based on a rubric of criteria. Teams placing first through sixth will be announced as winners of the Social Challenge. Companies will be assigned a specific non-profit to coordinate delivery with, allowing for direct community connection
- The RHISE Cup Bath & Body Drive is a structured, high-volume donation drive that delivers the exact hygiene products your clients or students need most.
- This is an opportunity for non-profits to connect directly with the Rochester Hills business community. By participating as a recipient and/or judge, applicants gain visibility with leading local companies.
- This project is managed as a collaboration between the City of Rochester Hills and the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester (CFGR). The RCOs are excited to support the selected applicants, who will be pre-screened and organized to ensure the donation/delivery process is efficient and reasonable for your team.
All applicants will be notified by August 21st whether or not they are selected as a finalist. Teams and their employees will see a list of the finalists and they will vote for the non profit they want to receive their collected donations. The three finalists who receive the top votes will be selected and named as the lucky recipients. We will announce all selected applicants on September 22nd!
All eligible applicants will be considered, including non-profits, teachers, schools, and churches. Eligibility will be determined by need, capacity, and geographic area served. Applicants must recognize that they are applying to RECEIVE HYGIENE PRODUCTS. This program does NOT provide cash awards. All questions regarding this application and donations should be directed to the Community Foundation of Greater Rochester (admin@cfound.org).
If you would like your non-profit or charitable organization to be considered as a recipient of this Bath & Body Drive, please FILL OUT THE APPLICATION BELOW NO LATER THAN AUGUST 10TH! Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.
This application is for potential recipients of the Bath & Body Drive from the City of Rochester Hills RHise Cup.
Community Foundation fundraisers are always in support of the community, never our own operations. Our mission is to be a responsive resource for the community, so that when emergencies arise, there are funds to draw from to provide relief. Because of the nature of emergent needs, fundraising for emergencies is time prohibitive, and organizations often turn to the Community Foundation in these circumstances. The Community Foundation receives more grant requests every year than we can award money for, but with help from our donors, we provide as much community assistance as we can. Thank you for supporting our mission.
Be A Part of Something Great!
The Community Foundation of Greater Rochester supports local organizations across Rochester Hills and Rochester. Our benefactors include green spaces, non-profit organizations, community outreach programs, and more.

Over the years, the Women's Fund has consistently given to the Assistance League of SE MI in support of Assault Survivor Kits. Any time a woman goes to the hospital as the result of reporting an assault, her clothes become evidence. Each Assault Survivor kit provides new clothing and toiletries for survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
