High School Student Scholarships

The Community Foundation administers a Scholarship Program for graduating high school seniors every year. Our 2024 program has concluded. Applications for graduating seniors for the class of 2025 will be available at the beginning of December. If you have questions about the scholarship program, individual scholarships, how to apply, or how to receive funding, please contact the Community Foundation at 248-608-2804.

Applications are currently being accepted for Community Enhancement Grants. The Foundation accepts applications from tax-exempt, non-profit organizations serving the Greater Rochester area. The Community Foundation does not support political campaigns or activities, so applicants from political organizations will not be considered.

Community Enhancement Grants are awarded to non-profit organizations specifically serving the Rochester, Rochester Hills, and Oakland Township communities. The Community Enhancement Grant program is designed to be a resource for projects and programs, whether new or ongoing, that enhance one of the three listed communities in an identifiable way.

Past Community Enhancement Grants have been awarded to the Rochester Avon Historical Society for Monument Restoration, the Rochester City Beautiful Commission for City Beautification projects, Ascension Providence Rochester for new infant bassinets, and many other projects that directly impact the quality of life of residents of our community.

To apply for a Community Enhancement Grant, fill out one of the applications below and include ‘Community Enhancement Grant’ on the application.

The Community Foundation Women’s Fund grant application window will open in late October. To apply for a grant that targets programs or services specifically uplifting women, refer to the Women’s Fund page, or check back when the Women’s Fund grant application period opens.
