Grant Application for Community Enhancement Grants: Charitable Projects or Programs that will ENHANCE the Greater Rochester Community. The application is open August 17th – September 18th. Recipients will be selected and notified in early October.

• 1. A copy of the IRS determination letter indicating 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. • 2. A copy of your organization's Charitable Solicitation Registration for the State of Michigan, or proof of exemption. • 3. List of Board of Directors with affiliations. • 4. Organization's current annual operating budget, including expenses and revenue. • 5. Most recent annual financial statement (independently audited, if available; if not available, attach Form 990). • 6. Copy of Organization’s nondiscrimination policy • 7. Annual report, if available.

    If you are selected to receive a Community Enhancement Grant, you may also be eligible for a $2000 Grant Booster. To be considered for the $2000 Grant Booster, please include a video talking about your proposed Community Enhancement project/program. All videos will be reviewed by the grant The grant committee will select the top three video submissions to be shown at the Tailgate Party on October 8th, where attendees will vote live on which organization should receive the Grant Booster. You must be present to be selected. Video submissions should be approximately 1 minute long. Video should explain the organization's mission and goals and an 'elevator pitch' to a broad audience of why your organization should be selected to receive extra funding. Video style and theme is open-ended. Feel free to be creative.
