MAY 14th, 2026: MEN’S FUND ANNUAL GIVING BREAKFAST
Great Oaks Country Club
At the annual Men’s Fund Breakfast, participants gather to share a meal, conversation, and support for those in our community who need it most.
The Men’s Fund has supported causes and organizations including Neighborhood House, Grace Centers of Hope, and the Oakland County Deputy Sheriff’s Association Family Benevolent Fund, putting dollars toward enacting real, positive change in our neighbors’ lives.
This year, the tradition continues, and attendees will have the opportunity to hear from the Men’s Fund committee on the mission of the Men’s Fund and why they continue to give back.
Please join us for meaningful conversation over a delicious meal, the heart of which is neighbor helping neighbor.

NOVEMBER 10TH, 2025: Foundation Forums – Understanding New Tax Laws
The Foundation Forums are a series of complimentary community events that the Foundation provides as a community service, in aid of our goal to be a community leader.
With the numerous changes to tax law for 2025, we are providing this complimentary community informational Forum to provide a comprehensive breakdown of what taxpayers need to know.
Tax Law Experts and CPAs Katie Peabody and Farrah Nordman, from Fenner, Melstrom & Dooling CPAs, will explain the changes, answer questions, and leave you with peace of mind to file your taxes next year.
October 9TH, 2025: Tailgate at the Rochester Hills Banquet Center
Thank you for making the 2025 Tailgate the most impactful Tailgate yet!
We say it every year, because every year it’s true: our community one ups itself at every Tailgate. We raised money to fulfill over 60 wishlists for Hearts for the Holidays, and we hope our community will continue giving!
JULY 16TH, 2025: Foundation Forums – Demystifying Charitable Giving
The Foundation Forums are a series of complimentary community events that the Foundation provides as a community service, in aid of our goal to be a community leader. In July, we hosted an informational session with qualified professionals in the financial industry. We learned about how to maximize tax benefits, how to give from your IRA, how to create a trust to ensure your assets are protected, and more.

MAY 22ND, 2025: MEN’S FUND ANNUAL GIVING BREAKFAST
The Men’s Fund Breakfast is a tradition that harkens back to an earlier time, back when Rochester was practically a one-horse town.
In the 1960s, a group of Rochester business leaders would get together over breakfast and put $100 bills into a cigar box. When one of their neighbors had a need, that money was a resource of support.
It looks a little different now, but the heart of the Men’s Breakfast is the same: neighbor helping neighbor.
Join us for breakfast, networking, and a message from an organization we’ve supported throughout the years.
APRIL 7TH, 2025: HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS CEREMONY
The Community Foundation of Greater Rochester awards tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships every year to local graduating high school seniors.
If you are a scholarship recipient, a family member, or a donor, you’re welcome to join us in celebrating the accomplishments of these young leaders.
February 9TH, 2025: Young Professionals Trivia Night
The first YPG event was a great success! We sold out and had to open up an overflow area for all the attendees. It was an amazingly fun night, and we look forward to hosting more events to continue growing our new YPG.

DecemBER 12TH, 2024: holidays at the roxy
Thank you for coming to our end-of-year celebration! Holidays at The Roxy was an incredible evening celebrating our generous supporters, donors, and friends. What a fantastic way to end the year. 💙🤎
During the holiday season we are reminded of the power of giving. Thank you for showing up, giving back, and making a difference all year long. Together, we are strengthening our community and creating opportunities for all to enjoy.
OCTOBER 10TH, 2024: THE TAILGATE
Thank you to our community for another great Tailgate Party! We learned that Foundation is our favorite F-Word, and we learned about many services that the Community Foundation provides.
We’ll be ready to do it all again next year!
Over the years, the Women's Fund has consistently given to the Assistance League of SE MI in support of Assault Survivor Kits. Any time a woman goes to the hospital as the result of reporting an assault, her clothes become evidence. Each Assault Survivor kit provides new clothing and toiletries for survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault.
